Loss
I now truly know the meaning of the statement when it rains it pours. Thursday I got a phone call telling me my grandpa had passed away. He was old and in pain, so I had to tell myself it was for the best. On Saturday I got a phone call telling me my sister Tricia had passed away. I feel sick to my stomach when I think about it. She was 35 years old and had so much life to live. I have never had death so close to me and I am not sure how to handle it. I have been having a hard time telling people, so this is my way of telling those people that I should have told but didn't. I just want to thank everyone who has reached out and helped me and my family. I can't believe how kind people are to lend a helping hand. We have gotten so many offers of help we could never possibly use it all. Every moment of life is worth a celebration, so instead of mourning their life lost I think I would rather celebrate their life lived.

Megan, I am truly very sorry for your losses. I hope that you're able to find some comfort and peace in knowing that these loved ones are in a better place. You'll be in my prayers. Sorry again.
I'm soo sorry for your double loss. That is really hard that it happened so close. Death is never easy to deal with. It will get better.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your family members! It's never an easy thing to deal with and if there is anything Justin and I can do you know we would love to help out in any way!
I hope you can find comfort in prayer and feel the love of God that will probably make you a stronger and better person after going through such hard trials. I know oftentimes the homes of the mourning are a more comforting place than anywhere else since the Spirit is there so strongly. I hope you can feel that comfort in your home. It's a good reminder to us all to live every day to the fullest and to give more of ourselves to others.
Megan, I am so sorry. I can't believe it. Nothing I can say will make it any easier, but I just want to tell you how much I love you. You will be in my prayers. As will your family. You are strong enough to handle this. I always think, You gotta take it as a compliment if Heavenly Father thinks you can handle it, he knows you are strong enough. Again I am so sorry, I love you.If I can do ANYTHINg please let me know.

I completely understand how you are feeling. I had never really dealt with a death close, and then we lost Dustin's grandpa and my uncle. It is a bit of a shocker. I hate to hear things like this because nothing that is said can ever take the pain away. I felt so bad when Hollee told me about your grandpa and your car. Then yesterday I heard about your sister. Meg we are thinking about you.
I've never had any one real close to me die either, now you have and I can't imagine dealing with it. I hope you're doing ok! I love the end of your post, did you make that up? People should quote you on that. what a beautiful saying.
